TRENICE GRIFFIN: The Voice Of Contemporary Drama
 

Trenice Griffin is a powerhouse playwright, producer, and actress whose work serves as a vibrant mirror to the human experience.

 

Born in Miami, Florida, into a family of immense musical and pastoral talent, Trenice discovered her passion for the written word at age nine. This early spark evolved into a prolific career of storytelling that navigates the delicate balance between hysterical laughter and profound emotion.

As a playwright, Trenice specializes in Impact, Influence, and Implementation. She doesn't just write scripts; she implements life situations in a practical way through the arts. Her work gained prestigious recognition when her production, "I’m Single and I Need a Man," was selected for the Kingdomwood Christian Film Festival, marking her as a significant voice in faith-based entertainment.

Her extensive portfolio includes social impact works like Sex and Love (Bermuda) and Peer Pressure (Nassau, Bahamas), alongside signature stage hits such as The Porch, I’m Going All the Way, and Not This Christmas, You Don’t Know My Story and No Will.

 

Following the tragic loss of her mother, Trenice used the stage as a vehicle for healing, transforming pain into purposeful drama. Beyond the script, she is a comedic force, captivating audiences through her beloved character, "Sugg Mama." Trenice Griffin continues to dare to dream, producing work that resonates across all nationalities and proves that the message of the soul is best articulated through a great time of laughter and praise.
